About

The UK Communities Conference is an annual weekend gathering which explores and celebrates intentional community in Britain. We promote collaboration between communities and seek to build a stronger communities movement. The conference brings together people who already live in intentional community alongside those who are just curious or are planning to set up or join communities, as well as people with a research interest in communities.

This is an event for anyone interested in a more co-operative and sustainable way of life. Whether you’re just getting curious about living communally or have done so for years, join us at our next event, or have a look at our archive of recorded sessions.

Next Event

11–13 July 2025, Canon Frome Court, Herefordshire
We are in the early stages of planning next year’s weekend camping event, with a team of residents from Canon Frome Court as well as others from across the UK communities network. We are anticipating focussing on how intentional communities can help us face the challenges of the 21st century, and will be putting out a call for submissions to our programme and opening ticket sales in early 2025.
